You Know You Are a Parent Moments.... This Could Get Interesting

So last night I was laying in bed about to drift off into my three-quarters slumber (moms never sleep soundly) when I heard a downpour outside.  My first thought was, "Yes, now I do not have to run the sprinkler tomorrow on my garden...save some money...SCORE!".  Then I jumped out of my bed like lightning and ran down the stairs because I had not covered the kids sandbox.  I did not even bother to dry off before crashing back into my sheets.
